TRAVEL

BY ROAD

Right, for anyone else who needs them, here's directions to the hotel, based on coming along the M25:

There is a parking area at the front of the hotel, so you shouldn't need to park on the actual road (which has parking meters), there is also a Car Park at the rear of the hotel.

To get here, get on the M25 and come off at junction 2 (the A2), see streetmap.co.uk link here: Then follow the A2 into Strood (watch out as you enter Strood as the road works at the M2 junction aren't usually very well sign posted, and you may end up on the M2 or A289 (northern bypass) instead). Follow the A2 through Strood, keeping on the route for Rochester and Gillingham, then once you're over the river Medway follow the A2 through Rochester (can you see a pattern here? ), see this plan for details:
Where it says 'A2' on the 'A2 NEW ROAD' on the plan, that's where the Medway Manor Hotel is (just after the pelican crossing).

On the Sunday, there will be a small problem with road works in Rochester, so come early? Otherwise I would suggest crossing the Medway on the M2 and taking the signs into Chatham and then to Rochester.

BY TRAIN

Really easy, from Victoria Station (Central London) get a train to ROCHESTER. Or you can do the same from Charing Cross to ROCHESTER.

Get off at Rochester, exit the station ( only 1 way), turn right into Main Road. Head to the traffic lights and main junction. Turn left up the hill (Star Hill) and walk untill you reach the roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout and the Medway Manor Hotel is about 100 yards down on the left.

BY AIR

Well it seem I was recommending Kent International Airport too quickly, EUJet seem to have gone belly up. So we are back to the standbys of Stanstead, Gatwick and LOndon City Airports. If your coming to one of these let me know and I may be able to arrange transport.
